General Surgery and Diagnostics, P.C., is dedicated
to providing personal, professional and compassionate care to each and every one of our patients and their families.
Our surgeons have expertise in laparoscopic surgery of the gastrointestinal
system, including esophageal, stomach, gallbladder and colon surgery, surgeries of the breast, hernia surgeries, thyroid and
varicose veins, as well as various cancer surgeries. Dr. Michael Wolpert and
Dr. Keith Vollstedt also perform surgeries for
weight loss. Dr. Vollstedt performs surgeries of the chest, lung and peripheral vascular disease and
he, along with Dr. Larry Volz, performs endoscopic procedures to assess disease of the esophagus, stomach
and colon. Our surgeons perform surgeries at Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke’s Medical Center, in Sioux City,
Iowa, as well as the Siouxland Surgery Center, in Dakota Dunes, SD.
